Agostino's In The Valley is located in the valley in Garfield Heights Ohio, on the corner of Warner and Canal Roads. Agostino’s is a new concept restaurant and pub setting with a great outdoor patio. Agostino’s offers some of the old world Italian authentic dishes created thru the Gallo family recipes for the last 60 years.

The late Antonio Gallo came to Cleveland in early 1950 from Calabria, Italy. Antonio learned the culinary skills in Italy and worked in many food eateries before coming to America. Chef Antonio Gallo worked in many prominent restaurants and hotels in Cleveland. Iconic places like, Captain Franks, Boyardis, Blue Fox, Peasano’s and several large hotels. Chef Tony Gallo fed many national stars in the 50’s. 60’s and 70’s, like Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Frank Sinatra, presidents and congressional people from all over the world. Giuseppe Gallo (Joe) started at a young age in the business, learning all aspects of the hospitality business from bars to 300 room hotels, country clubs and multi-unit operations. From 1985 thru 2006, Chef Tony along with his son Joe, opened Agostino’s Ristorante located in Brooklyn Ohio. A 30-seat operation grew into a 200-plus seat restaurant and banquet facility with off-site catering trucks on the road every day. Agostino’s for 6 years was the preferred caterer to the Cleveland Indians baseball team and management staff. Agostino’s has won best Italian Restaurant for years, was written up in the New York Times as the best kept secret in Cleveland, and feeds thousands of regular customers weekly. |

In 2006, Joe decided to take another direction into the hospitality consulting business. Joe has taken his knowledge of the business to help other companies in the business, from mom and pop owned restaurants to large banquet and country club operations. Joe has become the Guru of the industry in turning around problem restaurants or struggling facilities. In January of 2012, Joe came across a location that was closed for several months. The landlord was looking for an operator to reopen the closed Calla Club Bar and Grill. In Feb 2012, Joe Gallo partnered up with Tony Arena and Uncle Cosimo to open Agostino's In The Valley. Agostino’s is dedicated to the late Chef Tony Gallo. The menu is made up of recipes Chef Tony Gallo and Joe Gallo have developed for years.
